Building Community Through A Vibrant Downtown
Visit Bainbridge Island and experience our wonderful, unique world. Escape from the hectic world of cities and malls, take a deep breath, kick back and relax. A simple streetscape retains our small-town character and a sense of place. We are one of only 12 nationally accredited historic Main Streets in Washington and you will find an eclectic variety of rewarding experiences.
We are different in all the right ways. Come see us – and stay awhile – longer.
Bainbridge Arts and Crafts
A nonprofit gallery founded in 1948, Bainbridge Arts & Crafts shows and sells the work of 265 fine contemporary Northwest artists.
Our retail gallery features one-of-a-kind works of art at many price points, and our monthly special exhibitions explore and showcase different artists, mediums, and themes on a rotating basis.
As a nonprofit, we serve our community by offering art education to people of all ages and abilities. We administer scholarships for student artists, give grants to art teachers, offer free art programs in senior centers and hospital lobbies, and host free talks and demonstrations every month.
Our monthly receptions take place during BIDA’s First Friday Art Walk. Please join us!
Spread the word to graduating seniors: BAC's scholarship deadline is 6 p.m. this Friday, April 17. http://t.co/8YLae0H2oK
